Terms & Conditions

  • All rentals are free from stains, damage, and noticeable signs of wear. Please check your item on arrival and contact us immediately if there are any issues.

  • Do not attempt to clean the garment yourself. Our pieces are delicate and can be permanently damaged.

  • Minor stains that we can remove will not incur charges. For major stains, rips, broken zips, or other damage, you are required to pay repair or dry cleaning fees within 7 days.

  • If the garment is damaged beyond repair or returned with missing parts (e.g. ties, buttons, scarves), you must pay the full retail price within 7 days, in addition to the rental fee.

  • Garments must not be altered in any way. This includes pinning, taping, or temporary modifications. Any alterations or resulting damage will incur repair or replacement costs.

  • Be mindful when wearing jewellery or crossbody bags, as these can pull or damage fabrics. Pulling damage is often permanent and not considered normal wear and tear.

  • Weekend rentals must be placed by 2pm on Wednesday. Orders placed after this time may not arrive in time for your event.

  • Your rental comes with a prepaid return bag. Return it the day after your event via an NZ Post counter, not a drop box. If returning in person, it must be dropped off within 1–2 days after your event.

  • Late returns will incur a $15 fee per day.

  • If your late return or damage results in a cancelled future booking, you will be responsible for covering any loss of income.

  • Booking cancellations are allowed if made 7 or more days before your rental date.

  • In cases of theft or unpaid fees, we reserve the right to take further action. This includes using debt collection agencies, legal proceedings, the Disputes Tribunal, and/or naming you publicly.

  • You must provide your full name, phone number, address, and valid ID when renting. This helps ensure garment safety and allows us to contact you if needed.

  • Rentals by Pari remains the legal owner of all garments. If an item is not returned, legal action will be taken. This may include police reports for theft or filing through the Disputes Tribunal.
